Morning Swim – Before the Rain

Each morning while at Christie Lake, I enjoy a morning swim, whatever the weather. Some days I swim hard, especially if there are lots of waves. The odd day, I swim to Loon Island (the island featured in these images). Some days, like the one pictured below are so very still, I try to enter the water as gradually and quietly as I can –  without a ripple. Which is, of course, impossible, but fun to try.
